Ephesus/Pammukkale (Cotton Castle)

The villa itself is very peaceful and relaxing yet within 5 to 10 minuets walk you can be in the hustle and bustle of Turgutreis town centre.
The Villa is set back with outstanding views of Turgutreis and the Aegean Sea, with its endless blue waters and views of 14 Turkish Island as well as the Greek island of Kos.
We have enclosed information about Turgutreis to enable you to make an informed holiday choice and really get the most of your stay especially if it’s your first visit to Turkey.

Marina & Beaches
Within 5 to 10 minuets walk from our Villa, you will find two marinas these are definitely worth exploring. The new 38 million dollar Marina is now one of Turkey's major yachting venues and holds various boat shows throughout the year.
Here you will find designer shops, bars and restaurants. In the old marina you will find traditional sailing ship offering to take you on day trips (see places of interest) and during the summer they have activities for the younger children such as bouncy castles as well as a permanent swing park. |
The Beach
The beaches are long golden and sandy, use of beach lounges and umbrellas on Turgurtreis beach are normally free but the beach restaurants that supply them like you to buy your food and drink from them. We have found this to be wonderful as you don’t need to loose a moment sunbathing time as you drinks are served to you and course don’t forget that it is quite cheap to eat and drink in Turkey which just makes the day perfect.
If you like water sports you can enjoy a variety of activities located by the La Plage Hotel further along the beach just a few minuets stroll. We have found the prices to be quite reasonable compared to Europe and the equipment new as well as the service professional.
Buses
The cheapest way to travel around is on the little buses (Dolmus) they travel to all of the surrounding region and the main bus depot for the town is a few minuets walk from the villa. The cost of going to Bodrum which takes about 20 minuets is about £1.00 per person; most buses will pick you up and drop you off anywhere on route you choose just wave and they stop and their destination is always clearly marked on the front of the bus.
Car Hire
The only way to truly discover a new place is by hiring a car for a few days. We would recommend you stroll down to Turgutreis there you will find tour companies which hire cars daily or weekly or just ask our management company and they will be able to put you in touch with local companies.
Airport Transfers
We can arrange airport pick ups which are to be paid for locally on arrival prices start from £30 one way for up to 4 people. Taxis cost around £40 from the airport and we can also arrange larger vechicles for parties with more passengers. Just enquire when booking.
